1- HOUSE RULES
Our wish is for the guests of Paradise Suites to feel at home while away from home. To that end, we ask that each guest respects the privacy of the others.
Smoking inside this home is prohibited, including on the verandas. Smoking is only permitted in the garden, situated in the back of the property.
For the comfort of all the guests we ask that you respect Quiet Hours, starting from 10PM till 8AM of the next morning.
Each suite is assigned one shelf in the fridge, labelled with the name of their suite, in which they can store their food items that require refrigeration - It’s also expected that guests will not tamper with food from another shelf. There is also an assigned cubby where guests can store food that doesn’t require refrigeration. Each of these is labelled with the name of each relative suite.
It is expected that guests wash their own plates, cutlery, cups, and mugs, with dishwashing detergent, rinse and place in the drying rack.
We also have a “TRUST MINIBAR”: This means that in the doors of the fridge, guests can find Beer that can each be purchased for 1 Euro, which is to be deposited in the little glass pot (found adjacent to the mugs). Complimentary coffee and tea are available for consumption at anytime.
The guests are welcome to use the dining room to have meals brought in or delivered, quick snacks and lunches. It is expected that the used plates, cutlery, cups, glasses are washed with detergent and left on the rack for drying.
For the home gym, we ask that guests observe the hours of operation from 10AM to 10PM.
We have a small library and guests may choose books to read during their stay here with us. We expect these books to be returned before guests depart Paradise Suites.
Our workstation or business centre may be used at any time, so long as guests continue to respect the Quiet Hours after 10PM.
2- IMPORTANT REQUEST
We request that guests do not bring any food or drinks (other than water) to their rooms, as we have the kitchen and garden spaces available for this purpose.
When drinking water in the room, please use the coasters provided to protect the furniture finishings.
Please do not hesitate to contact us should you need assistance with anything relative to your day, or to request the replacement of towels, shampoos, shower gels, etc.
Ring the doorbell at our door anytime up to 10pm, to be attended to.
At every three days during your stay, our housekeeper will exchange used towels for fresh towels, and collect the rubbish from the suite and the bathroom. At every 7 days, during your stay, our housekeeper will thoroughly clean your room, change bed sheets and towels.
3- TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Identification: For safety reasons, the guests must supply their address and a phone number when booking with us. Foreign guests must also supply an ID number or passport number to be sent to SEF (Portuguese immigration authority).
The age limit for making a booking is 18 years. There is no maximum age to make bookings.
Guests must consider their mobility and capability for going up and down stairs, as there are no lifts in the property.
Payments:
No-reimbursable rates are charged in full (100%) at the time of the booking.For other rates, the system will charge you 30% of the total value of your stay on your credit/debit card, as a guarantee of the reservation.
Cancellation fees will not be charged if you cancel within 24 hours after your reservation has been made, unless you are already within the 14-day period to check-in.
The remaining charges will be: 20% at 14 days from check-in and 50% at 3 days from check-in.
The Tourist Tax of Cascais Municipality is mandatory and must be paid by all guests above 12 years of age. It costs 2€ per person/day, limited to the first 7 days of your stay. This payment will be included in the invoice-receipt by Paradise Suites.
Internet:
Access to high-speed Wi-Fi in the Suites is free of charge.
Parking:
Free parking is available on the street behind the Suites. It is safe and well-lit, there was never a break-in or vandalism occurrence.
General:
Guests' pets are not allowed.
Smoking is permitted in the garden, at the back of the house. Smoking is not allowed in the house, not even in the verandas.
Quiet Time, when silence is expected, goes from 22:00h to 8:00h, for the comfort of all.
We have a room with a small library, sofa and a desk with chairs for the use of computers, which is always open. Please, keep the Quiet Time at this space too.
The books at the library may be borrowed freely, read and returned during the period that the guest is with us.
Children are accepted only from 5 years of age and up. We do not have cribs available at the suites.
Some rooms can take an extra bed (Suite Lisboa e Suite Sintra). The use of an extra bed will imply an extra charge of 10 € per night.
Check-in: between 15:00h and 22:00h.
Check-out: by 11:00h.
Obs.1: Early check-in and late check-out depend on availability and extra fees may apply.
Obs.2: Late check-in (after 22:00h) - a fee of 10€/hour or part of an hour is due.
4- Cancellations
When a cancellation is made prior to 14 days from Check-in date, the guest shall not incur any charges. From the 14th day prior to check-in, it will be charged 50% of the full reservation value. This value will be charged on the guest's credit/debit card and it will not be reimbursable.
From the 3rd day prior to check-in, it will be considered as a "no-show" and it will cost 100% of the total reservation value.
Cases where the management of Paradise Suites verifies the need for reimbursement, that will be carried out within a period of 7 working days.
